The HURRICANE PERFORMANCE Steel power steering box is designed to replace the factory aluminum JL Wrangler version. It can withstand the stresses of off-roading, as well as larger wheels and tires, and slow speed turning without damaging the gears inside or at the pitman arm splines, ensuring a safe turning ratio for high speed driving. It is suitable for daily driving and can accommodate factory tire sizes up to 35".
For larger wheels an aftermarket Heavy Duty steering box and pump upgrade may be recommended.
